We have a band website at www.nwband.com. We are going to Washington DC in May of 2009. I can't wait and we have a concert in two weeks!

For the fourth of July my family and me are going to California for a family reunion! it should be so fun we are all very excited!

For Easter we had some friends over, it was a lot of fun! here is me and David on a Easter Egg Hunt!! we hid over 300 eggs!!!

Easter

For Easter we are having a lot of family's come eat with us. My mom said I could do the egg hunt! I am get to fill them with candy and other fun stuff. I can't wait! I made a tomb out of clay and put a rock in front of it and three crosses on top. It was a lot of fun.

Our band did great in the competition! We got many complements. It was a lot of fun too.

More Band

Today I had band, we are getting ready for our concert this Friday. We are going to be competing against other home schooled bands.

Right now my Mom is watching her favorite TV show......Super Nanny. She loves to watch it while were in bed.

Today we went to the Library for Story Time. The guest was a man and his two dogs. Phoebe tried to kiss the big one. It was really funny! They read story's and colored a picture of a puppy.

There once was a frog who wasn't very happy. Now this frog always wore something on his head all day long. One day his dear friend Toad asked him why he always wore something on his head. The frog answered and said, "I don't ALWAYS wear something, I take it off when I go to sleep."
So Toad went home and had an idea. When his friend Frog was asleep he would go to his house and look to see why he wore things on his head all day long. Slowly Toad crept over to Frog's house and saw his friend had just the same head as he did - bald! So, the next day when Toad went over to Frog's house, he said, "Frog, do I have any hair on my head?"
Frog said, "Well, no."
Toad said, "Then why do you wear wigs and hats on you head all day?"
"Well, I guess I just wanted to look like that Koala over there."
All Toad could say was, "Frog, you're alright."

Joey never wants to stay in his crib, he always climbs in Phoebe's. But it's adorable! They just recently learned how to open doors so we had to get special plastic things that go on the door knob. They don't like it every much because now they can't sneak out of their rooms during naps.

Doing hair

My sister Olivia loves to do our hair! This is me and my sister Sophia with our new dos! And Chloe getting her hair done. Even Joey got to have his hair done.

My new shoes

I finally bought the shoes I wanted - Converse! My friend's Mom took us shopping for them. We wanted to get a funky color but they didn't have them and because they were on sale we both got black and we are going to get a funky color later. But we still had great fun!

Books I've read or am reading

Right now I am reading A Wrinkle in Time, I love it! My Mom has read all the Little House on the Prairie books out loud to us and my favorites are Farmer Boy and the Long Winter. I have also really enjoyed The House of Sixty Fathers.

School

My favorite subject is probably math. I do the Saxon books. I think it's pretty fun but I have to admit sometimes I get really frustrated.

My friends!

I love hanging out with my two best friends! They are such a blessing to have. They spoiled me on my birthday a couple weeks ago when my Mom took us shopping. We went out to ice cream at Cold stones and I got peanut butter perfection it was really yummy!

I have been part of a homeschooled band for two years now and I am really enjoying learning how to play the flute. My sister Juliette does it too and she plays the trumpet and my sister Phoebe loves to try to play it.

Trying Something New

This is the first day of blogging!
Thought I'd post a picture of our Cheese Nip Castle we made with our free boxes of crackers - some special deal mom found out about from Aunt Tam. Don't think I'll ever eat another cheese cracker again!
